Bournemouth Anglo-Italian Society Data Protection Policy.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Bournemouth  Anglo-Italian Society  is a long-established cultural association whose aim is to bring
together people with a love of all things Italian and to promote the learning of the Italian language in a
friendly atmosphere.
The personal information referred to in this Policy may include members’ names, e-mail, phone numbers
and residential addresses, records of attendance and occasional photographs taken at society’s events, and
such other information as may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of
Bournemouth  Anglo-Italian Society. Any person wishing to verify the information held by the Society’s
officers may apply to the Secretary.
We do not hold members’ financial details
The Society  collects and holds personal information about:
1. The members of the Society.
o This information is used to facilitate administration and services. The information is held
primarily by the Membership Secretary, but also shared with the Treasurer for accounting
purposes. Members’ email addresses may be in committee member’s address books for
Society’s purposes.
2. Others necessary for the conduct of the business of the Bournemouth Anglo-Italian Society.
o This information is used to contact external speakers etc. for the club.
The Bournemouth Anglo-Italian Society  may retain historical archives, such as records of meetings and
schedules of forthcoming events.
We may collect photos of members and guests taking part in Club events and it is possible that these
photos may be posted on the Society’s website and Facebook account.
