Tuesday 6th November, our annual Italian wine tasting evening was, as always, great fun and a great success.

All the wines were appreciated in different degrees and everyone seemed to be enjoying the company.

The wines were imported directly from an Italian on-line merchant called Il Negozio del vino.

Their web site is:  www.negoziodelvino.it

Here are the wine notes given by the wine merchant. At the end of the evening we summarized the scores given to the wines. As expected, opinions differed a lot, especially regarding the rose' and the white wines, so the following scores only represent an average. The wine prices were given at the end and are here included (originally in Euro and included are the shipping cost of approx. £1.50 a bottle) Scores are 1-5 with 5 the highest.
